Embedded mission engineer who designs, builds, and deploys AI agents, workflows, and automations on Axon's platform to solve customer operational challenges.
At Axon, weâre on a mission to Protect Life. Weâre explorers, pursuing societyâs most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.
Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, youâll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
This isnât a relationship management role. Itâs an ownership role. Sharp. Adaptable. Unstoppable.
You wonât wait to be asked. Youâll identify whatâs broken before it becomes a problem, build solutions that didnât exist yesterday, and earn the kind of trust that makes you indispensable to the agency â and to Axon.
In this embedded role, you are the primary owner of customer outcomes within a strategic account â accountable for the full lifecycle of Axonâs ecosystem. You combine deep technical expertise, builder instinct, operational leadership, and executive presence to help agencies transform how they operate, not just adopt software. You embed for the long haul: opening the laptop onsite, shipping on Axonâs stack, holding the room when it matters, and iterating on what you build until it sticks in production.
Success is measured by the agencyâs operational outcomes and working solutions in production â not product health, not activity, not slideware.
This role is intentionally undefined in the day-to-day. Priorities shift with agency mission tempo, operational crises, and emerging opportunities. If you need a fixed playbook to succeed, this isnât the role for you.
Building is the job. You will use Axonâs platform â AI Era, agents, workflows, integrations, and data tools â to design, build, and ship new capabilities on site. You own outcomes end to end across deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing success â as the accountable owner, not a coordinator of other teamsâ work.
We recognize that candidates may bring strengths from different backgrounds and experiences. If your experience aligns closely with this role, we encourage you to apply.
This role is for builders who earn trust in the room â not for those looking for a predictable schedule or narrowly defined responsibilities. Every week looks different. Thatâs the job.
Benefits that Benefit You
