What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote - India

Ready to do the most impactful work of your career? At Coinbase, we are uncompromising on our mission to increase economic freedom. The bar is high, the environment is intense, and we like it that way. This isn't a place for complacency, it’s a place to be pushed past your perceived limits. If you're ready to build the future of finance alongside people who refuse to settle for "good enough," you belong here. Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges.” learn more about working at Coinbase.

The CX Intelligence team is part of Coinbase’s Enterprise Applications and Architecture org and builds the customer-facing and internal CX experiences that connect the Help Center, chatbots (CBCB), and agent workflows. The team owns the multi-agent platform which powers coinbase chat, Help Center and agent tooling surfaces, partnering closely with Conversation Design, CX, and other Engg teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable AI-powered support. Our work provides the trusted and accurate automated and agent-assisted experiences—helping customers get answers faster while enabling human agents to resolve cases more effectively.

We are hiring an IC5 Machine Learning Engineer to drive the evolution of our conversational ecosystem by building a seamless hybrid vendor-internal chatbot experience. You will lead the design and implementation of a sophisticated unified orchestration layer that coordinates interactions between vendor AI, internal multi-agent systems, and human participants. This role is pivotal in managing complex state transitions, context sharing, and intent routing across a distributed environment. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy high ownership, architecting complex hand-off logic between disparate LLM frameworks, and building reliable AI-enabled products that are fast, measurable, and scalable.

What you'll do:

  • Architect and deploy the orchestration layer that manages state transitions, context sharing, and intent routing across vendor and internal LLM frameworks in a distributed conversational environment.
  • Build production-grade Python services that bridge advanced ML/AI research with reliable, measurable customer-facing products.
  • Lead end-to-end project execution for complex ML initiatives, managing priorities, technical trade-offs, and cross-functional dependencies from design through delivery.
  • Establish best practices for system design, coding standards, and AI/ML development workflows across the team.
  • Mentor engineers on architectural integrity and modern AI/ML patterns, raising the technical bar for the broader team.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure every feature meets Coinbase's standards for security, scalability, and performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning and software engineering, with a track record of shipping production-grade ML services at scale.
  • Hands-on expertise building with modern AI architectures (LLMs, deep learning) and the generative AI ecosystem, including frameworks such as LangGraph, LangSmith, Google ADK, Vertex AI, or AWS Bedrock.
  • Deep proficiency in Python with demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, highly-tested production code.
  • Specialized knowledge in at least one domain: NLP, information retrieval, computer vision, or advanced statistical modeling.
  • Proven ability to write technical design documents and present ML system architectures to cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
  • Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human‑in‑the‑loop practices to deliver business‑ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

Engineer Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI (IC) at Verasity

Senior engineer builds and operationalizes AI agents and tooling across the product and engineering workflows, owning projects from prototype to production.

Senior Posted about 12 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 550 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

Overview

We’re building an Applied AI engineering team focused on turning modern ML/LLMs into reliable, scalable product capabilities. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has operated on an Applied AI/Product AI team before — someone who can build, ship, and iterate quickly, while also raising the bar for engineering rigor and judgment in an agent-driven SDLC.

In the near term, you’ll help us build our agent platform and internal tools, and partner with application engineering teams to operationalize AI across the software development lifecycle. Over time, the Applied AI team will increasingly shape product roadmap and strategy for AI-powered experiences — and increasingly, how the rest of engineering works day to day.

What you’ll do

  • Build our agent platform and tooling
    • Design and implement primitives like orchestration, tool/function calling, evaluation harnesses, prompt/version management, tracing/observability, and safety/guardrails.
    • Support patterns like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), structured extraction, and production inference workflows.
  • Operationalize AI in the SDLC
    • Work with application engineering teams to embed AI into day-to-day engineering workflows (code review assist, test generation, incident support, developer copilots), with clear quality gates and measurable impact.
    • Own the judgment call of what to delegate to agents vs. keep as human work — scope tasks so agents are set up to succeed, and adapt that boundary as team skill levels and tooling maturity vary.
  • Reason from the trace, not just the output
    • Given an agent run, diagnose whether it did its job well from the trace itself — not just the final diff. Debug agent behavior the way you’d debug a distributed system: inputs, intermediate steps, failure points.
    • Treat AI output as a claim to verify, not a result to trust — including tests the agent writes for its own code.
  • Ship applied AI features end-to-end
    • Own projects from prototype → production: data needs, system design, model/vendor selection, rollout plans, monitoring, and iteration.
    • Partner closely with product, design, and data/ML stakeholders to deliver customer-facing outcomes (not just demos).
  • Diagnose and evangelize AI adoption org-wide
    • Assess where AI adoption is working and where it isn’t — identify bottlenecks and failure modes across teams, not just within your own code.
    • Build what’s missing, teach what’s already built, and make the case for adoption to skeptical or hesitant engineers.
  • Mentor and set engineering standards
    • Establish best practices for reliability, evaluation, incident response, privacy/security, and “how we build AI here.”
    • Coach other engineers through design reviews, pairing, and pragmatic technical leadership — including how to critically review AI-generated code rather than rubber-stamp it.

What we’re looking for

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent), including shipping production systems.
  • Direct experience on an Applied AI / product AI team building LLM- or ML-powered features (agents/tooling strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated judgment in agent-driven development: knowing what to delegate, how to scope/context an agent, and how to verify its output before trusting it — this is as much a hiring bar here as raw coding ability.
  • Strong backend/system design skills: APIs, distributed systems, queues/workflows, observability, and performance.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes with cross-functional partners (product, design, data/ML, platform).
  • Track record of mentoring peers and leveling up engineering quality — including helping others build critical judgment around AI-assisted output, not just AI literacy.

Nice to have

  • Experience building “platform” capabilities for other engineers (SDKs, internal frameworks, developer tooling).
  • Practical experience with embeddings, search/retrieval, evaluation methodologies, and model monitoring (offline + online).
  • Experience building AI-powered tooling/products like agents and assistants at scale.
  • Familiarity with inference constraints (latency, cost, caching), vendor/model tradeoffs, and deployment patterns.

Example scope / projects you might own

  • Agent orchestration layer with tool routing, policy guardrails, and traceability.
  • RAG service with document ingestion, chunking/indexing, evaluation, and freshness controls.
  • “AI in SDLC” rollout: automated PR review feedback + test plan suggestions, with measurement and safe rollout.
  • Team-wide eval harness: goldens, regression tests, offline scoring + online experimentation.
  • Org-level AI adoption diagnostic: where teams are stuck, what tooling gap explains it, and a plan to close it.

How we work

  • We bias toward shipping and iteration, with production-grade engineering standards.
  • We treat evaluation, observability, and safety as core product features — not afterthoughts.
  • We hold the line that AI generates syntax, but the engineer remains the owner of every line committed — if you can’t explain the logic, side effects, or trade-offs, it doesn’t belong in the codebase.
  • We partner deeply with application teams to ensure AI actually changes how work gets done (and is trusted).

Where You’ll Live

While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates. #LI-Remote

Engineer Senior Airworthiness Engineer - Autonomous Airpower at Anduril Industries

Senior Airworthiness Engineer develops and authors certification plans for autonomous aircraft, manages compliance documentation, and leads technical reviews across engineering disciplines.

Senior Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril works across the entire spectrum of products and business lines, as well as all flight operations and test range management. Our team conducts full system level development testing, new production acceptance testing, sub-component qualification testing and much more. In short, if it involves test, we support it. If you are interested in working in an extremely innovative and fast paced environment, where your work directly makes an impact and difference in the products that are fielded, this a fantastic opportunity. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • You will work as an Airworthiness Engineer to develop and author Airworthiness certification and conformance plans for developmental and production aircraft, supporting Flight Releases, Type Certification, tailored airworthiness, and FAA general use airspace integration across all services.
  • You and your team will perform technical airworthiness (AW) planning, tracking and verification support within a digital environment. This includes the development and negotiation of airworthiness bases of certification, means of compliance, and other certification activities. You will be responsible for cultivating total-system Airworthiness relationships between engineers and other technical authorities, including our customer partners.
  • Airworthiness engineering duties include guiding technical reviews with your airworthiness engineers and engineering disciplines across the total system design, development and test processes.
  • You are expected to perform functional and process analyses, requirements allocation and definition studies with program engineers and customer representatives. You will facilitate all interactions which translate customer requirements into criteria and derived requirements.
  • You will ensure the logical and systematic realization of customer airworthiness certification objectives, to include the tailoring of traditional Airworthiness processes, and continuously evaluate and update Airworthiness plans with new realized solutions to meet program needs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Faced with numerous Airworthiness assessments you will proactively support and guide all design development towards Airworthiness compliance and support all processes leading to a successful issuance of a Military Flight Release (MFR) or other customer specific airworthiness approval. Subsequent to this you will actively solicit all engineering and systems data required to support iterative and on-going Airworthiness Boards, technical interchange meetings, and risk assessments.
  • You will develop, author and maintain all Airworthiness activities in a digital environment which is interconnected with system requirements, program schedules, flight test point matrix, and also risk assessments. Using this digital infrastructure you will demonstrate the ability to perform statistical analysis or program performance and leverage your digital tools to provide input to the flight test program execution schedule.
  • Faced with technical and execution challenges, you will be expected to develop creative solutions to unique problems. You will be biased for action — you are empowered to engage your team to solve and fix any problem you encounter.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or aviation related engineering degree.
  • 8+ years airworthiness engineering experience.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with DoW and FAA airworthiness authorities.
  • Experience with DoW Airworthiness Policy Directives, Instructions, and Airworthiness Bulletins
  • Proven experience working DoW and FAA Airworthiness processes, including MIL-HDBK-516 series documents, throughout the life cycle of a developmental aircraft to achieve successful program completion.
  • Experience developing and managing Airworthiness plans, tracking of Airworthiness criterions, and similar activities.
  • Must have experience with manned or UAS developmental Military aircraft.
  • Ability to develop and execute Airworthiness Certification process improvement initiatives.
  • Must have strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with emphasis on technical subjects.
  • Strong computer and technical software experience (MATLAB, JIRA, DOORS, MS Office, CATIA, 3DX)
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or aviation related technical discipline
  • 15+ years airworthiness engineering experience.
  • Systems engineering and Airworthiness experience with large UAS airworthiness authorizations.
  • Previously held a position as Airworthiness Engineering Lead or Airworthiness Engineer
  • Airworthiness experience on a team that executed first flight on a manned or large UAS developmental aircraft.
  • Experience working with the Department of War (DoW) as a contractor.

Engineer Senior Fullstack Engineer (ReactJS, NodeJS) at SwingDev—a hippo company

Senior fullstack engineer builds end-to-end user-facing features using React, Node.js, and owns technical direction within cross-functional product teams.

Senior Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

SwingDev—a hippo company is the Polish branch of a fast-growing InsurTech product company – Hippo Insurance. We’re here to make home insurance smarter and more proactive, using tech to bring fresh solutions. We also create digital products that support our customers, always focusing on what really makes an impact.

Putting a lot of effort into hiring top-tier professionals is a proof that we care a lot about tech experience, the attitude, human approach, and what we could call „culture fit”.

„SwingDev is all about people” - yes, it may sound a bit cliche. But whether we’re writing code or just hanging out, we know that people are at the heart of everything we do. We like to have a good time and keep things light, even when we’re tackling big projects. We could brag about what’s making us special, but we’ve boiled it down to two key ingredients: mature, companionable people who, rather than compete, prefer to inspire and have each other’s backs; a culture of trust, empathy, and positivity that keeps us together, lets us interact as teammates and friends, and truly enjoy the ride.

So if you’re a Senior Fullstack Engineer (frontend leaning) looking to shake things up and have a good time while you’re at it, you’ve come to the right place. 🚀

About the role:

At Hippo Insurance, we’ve got almost 20 tech charters up and running — and we’re still growing fast. That’s why hiring for back-end roles is a never-ending story here, and we usually have several recruitments going on at the same time. Joining us means becoming part of a product company in the insurance technology space — building and owning long-term solutions.

You’ll join one of our product charters as a Sr. Fullstack Engineer (FE leaning) who owns features end to end – from an ambiguous problem statement, through design and implementation across the stack, to production and the metrics that follow. You’ll work in a cross-functional team alongside Product, Design, QA, and other engineers, with real influence over what we build and how we build it.

If you’ve ever been curious about how insurance actually works under the hood, this is a great place to find out!

What will you do?

  • You’ll design and build user-facing features end to end – React frontends, the Node.js services and BFF layers behind them, and their interactions with data stores and third-party APIs.
  • You’ll own technical direction in your domain: you’ll break down large, fuzzy problems into shippable increments and make the architecture calls that come with them.
  • You’ll partner with Product Managers and Designers early, challenging requirements and shaping scope before a line of code is written.
  • You’ll support reliable databases and APIs for real-time automated decision-making.
  • You’ll deploy your software using industry-standard tooling like Kubernetes clusters, and Lambda functions.
  • You’ll investigate and resolve production issues by analyzing code, data, and system behavior, then propose and implement timely fixes to minimize user impact.
  • You’ll care deeply about security in everything you do and constantly raise the baseline of how we defend our users’ data against external threats and themselves.
  • You’ll implement robust automated test suites across the test pyramid to ensure high quality and a low failure rate of delivered code.
  • You’ll mentor mid-level engineers, give high-quality code review feedback, and act as a go-to person for engineers who lean more heavily to one side of the stack.
  • You’ll have huge creative freedom and the ability to put your mark on the project – and you’ll take ownership and responsibility for what you do.
  • You’ll have a lot of chances to develop your skills as well as learn a lot about how tech business is done in the US.

We might be a match if you…

  • Have at least 5 years of hands-on commercial experience building web applications, with real depth on both sides of the stack – React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Have designed and shipped production services, not just consumed them – you’re comfortable with API design, microservices, and system design patterns.
  • Possess a good, practical knowledge of at least one relational database system, e.g. PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server.
  • Have experience implementing the test pyramid (unit, integration, e2e tests).
  • Are an independent problem-solver who’s comfortable with ambiguity and knows when to ask instead of guess.
  • Can lead discussions and decisions regarding software design and architecture, and explain the trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Can demonstrate responsibility, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership in delivering high-quality work.
  • Utilize good security practices effectively.
  • Enjoy making other engineers better – through code review, pairing, and mentoring.
  • Show readiness to learn and expand your skill set as required by ongoing projects.
  • Have a sense of humor – seriously, it matters here.
  • Have a good command of English (written & spoken).
  • Are available to work in different timezones – we prioritize everyone’s personal time and work-life fit, but since we work across Poland and the US (Austin, San Francisco), occasional evening meetings may be necessary (on average 2 days per week).

What you’ll be using after joining us

  • TypeScript, Node.js, Nest.js,
  • PostgreSQL and other data stores,
  • Docker and container-based deployment technologies (e.g. Kubernetes/Fargate),
  • Grafana, Prometheus, Coralogix for monitoring,
  • AWS for infrastructure,
  • Automated software testing on module/integration/system levels,
  • AI tools (Devin, Devin Desktop, Claude).

You will get extra points for:

  • Experience with data analysis and BigQuery,
  • Real AI use case production experience,
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading a small team.

Recruitment process:

  • Send us your CV – it’s the best way for us to get to know you.
  • Meet Gabi, one of our Recruiters.
  • Complete a 30-minute one-way interview.
  • Join a Live Coding session with our Senior Engineers.
  • Have a chat with your potential Engineering Manager.
  • Meet on the final stage with Marcin and Alicja.
  • and… welcome aboard! 👋

  • Respond to pager incidents, perform deep root-cause analysis, and implement preventative measures across customer processes and workflows.
  • Ensure engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business value for clients.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as data engineering, analytics, solutions architecture, and client stakeholders to deliver successful client engagements.
  • Provide technical leadership during incident bridges, troubleshooting sessions, and design or runbook reviews, especially across Snowflake and cloud platform services.
  • Ensure high quality in deliverables through thorough documentation, knowledge articles, runbooks, and adherence to governance and change management processes.
  • Partner with practice and account leaders to identify opportunities to improve operational maturity, standardize patterns, and enhance client satisfaction across a large user base.
